Penang, Malaysia, 21 April 2020 - Throughout the government enforced nationwide lockdown and the period coinciding with Ramadan, the Muslim fasting month, Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa presents "Ramadan Takeaway", a selection of treats and feast to brighten up your meal times. With a choice of box sets for 2, 4 and 6 persons, every option comes packed with Malaysian favorites and desserts.


This limited time promotion is a convenient way for customers to 'buka puasa' in the comfort of their home with our authentic kampung fare takeaway spread, prepared just like the good old days, to be enjoyed with their loved ones, family and friends.

Available daily throughout the month of Ramadan, Signature Malaysian Cuisine dished out by the popular Spice Market Cafe culinary team include Ayam Kari Kapitan, Daging Masak Madu Berempah, Ikan Tiga Rasa, Udang Masak Sambal, Nasi Briyani, Malay Kuih which are then paired with assorted fruits and imported premium dates.





"Ramadan Takeaway" is available in three different menu options, Set A at RM350 for 6 to 7 persons, Set B at RM200 for 4 to 5 persons and Set C at RM100 for 2 to 3 persons. He added, "During the food preparation, we strictly follow all the precautionary measures to ensure the safety and wellness of our guests and colleagues. This include contact free delivery, tamper-proof packaging, regular disinfection practices, gloves and mask during food preparation, team member wellness checks and using only certified food supplier and products. The mode of payment is either cash on delivery or credit card. The order time is from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. The customer has the choice of picking up their orders at the Garden Wing Lobby or have they delivered without charge within the area of Batu Feringgi, Tanjung Bunga and Teluk Bahang only. All deliveries will be made 15 minutes earlier than the customer's preferred timing.
